Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in the water industry? Our client is expanding and is seeking talented Project Engineers to join the team at their head office in Carlow. This is a full-time, permanent role with plenty of room for growth and development.
Your role:
- Collaborate with our Project Manager to drive success.
- Source quotations from suppliers while ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Prepare technical submissions and reports for client approval.
- Create project schedules and keep them on track.
- Coordinate resources and contractors to meet delivery schedules.
- Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments for upcoming projects.
- Uphold Project Quality Control procedures.
- Keep a close eye on project finances and provide timely reporting.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, Client Project & Resident Engineers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a focus on Project Engineering.
- Knowledge of the water and wastewater industry (a plus, but not essential).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, including updating construction drawings and vendor coordination.
- Experience in plant design, construction, and commissioning.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage contractors and sub-contractors for successful project delivery.
- Strong technical, delivery, and commercial skills.
- Demonstrated proactive, practical, and flexible approach to work, aligning with our business objectives.
