Our client is a leading global engineering consultancy firm and they are actively seeking a civil engineer with experience leading projects in the aviation industry to join any of their offices across Ireland on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will collaborate in a multidisciplinary office, contributing to a range of projects spanning aviation (landside and airside) as well as land development in industrial, commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors.
Desirable skills/attributes:
- Expertise in leading civil engineering design projects within the aviation industry.
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in drainage and utilities design.
- Experience leading design teams, managing project delivery, and overall project management.
Requirements:
- Education to degree level (level 9 preferred).
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in a consultancy business.
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Effective communication skills, prioritization abilities, and workload management.
- Proven track record in communicating with and managing relationships with private and state clients.
- Planning and control of technical resources for timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
Personal Qualities:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Previous staff management experience.
- Flexible approach with multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, with a positive and approachable demeanor.
