We are seeking a Civil Water Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to join a growing team specializing in water engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing engineer to work on a variety of high-profile projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee surface water, foul drainage, wastewater treatment, and water supply infrastructure for projects, including rural and urban roads, and development sites.
- Lead and contribute to hydrological estimation and flood risk assessments, including 1D-2D flood modelling of rivers and watercourses.
- Develop sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) strategies tailored to specific site needs.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Provide technical input into planning and policy development for flood risk management and climate change adaptation strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Level 8) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in flood risk assessments and hydrological estimation methodologies.
- Experience in the design and implementation of water infrastructure projects, from planning through to construction.
- Competence in 1D-2D flood modelling and the design of SuDS.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Full driving license and fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Master’s degree (Level 9) and additional experience are an advantage.
