Job overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Ecologist to join our team. As a key member, you will be involved in Ecological Surveys and Environmental Impact Assessments, playing a crucial role in supporting our commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities:
Conduct ecological surveys and assessments following industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with senior ecologists and project managers to contribute to the development and implementation of ecological survey strategies.
Collect, analyze, and interpret ecological data to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
Assist in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments and other relevant reports.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to ecology and environmental impact assessments.
Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of one to three years of practical experience in conducting Ecological Surveys and Environmental Impact Assessments (seasonal, freelance, or volunteering previous experiences in the Irish Ecological sector will be considered).
Strong knowledge of the Irish Ecological/Environmental regulations and guidelines.
Excellent fieldwork and data collection skills.
Proficiency in using relevant ecological survey tools and software.
