About the role: 

Gaia Talent is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic hydrogeologist to join the client’s Contaminated Land and Hydrogeology Team. As a Hydrogeologist, you will be responsible for conducting desk-based studies, site investigations, and monitoring of water, soil, and waste materials. You will also be responsible for developing management plans for contaminated land remediation projects, undertaking GQRA and DQRA for a range of greenfield and brownfield sites, and preparing technical reports and other deliverables.

What we expect from you: 

As a Hydrogeologist, you will have a Master’s Level Degree in Hydrogeology and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a consultancy or comparable industry setting. You will have excellent report writing and communication skills, and you will be a subject matter specialist in hydrogeological assessment. You will also have experience in both greenfield and brownfield site assessments, strong analytical skills in hydrogeological assessment, contaminated land site risk assessment, and the ability to engage and liaise with various project teams including in-house and external consultants and clients.
