Gaia’s client is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team in the Dublin office. As a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our well-established energy team and contribute to delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Location: Dublin office on a hybrid basis with site work as required
Position details: Full-time and permanent position (37.5 hours weekly)
To excel in this role we expect from you:
- A degree/master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
- Over 3 years of experience working in mechanical/electrical consultancy/design.
- Experience and knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical installations, and electrical safety.
- Site/project experience, including inspections and assessments.
- Scoping and costing of upgrade projects of M&E equipment.
- Familiarity with water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Knowledge of renewable energy, particularly solar and wind technologies.
- Report writing and submissions to and interaction with clients.
- Good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A full driving license with access to own car.
