Gaia’s client is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team in the Dublin office. As a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our well-established energy team and contribute to delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Location: Dublin office on a hybrid basis with site work as required

Position details: Full-time and permanent position (37.5 hours weekly)

To excel in this role we expect from you: 

  • A degree/master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Over 3 years of experience working in mechanical/electrical consultancy/design.
  • Experience and knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical installations, and electrical safety.
  • Site/project experience, including inspections and assessments.
  • Scoping and costing of upgrade projects of M&E equipment.
  • Familiarity with water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy, particularly solar and wind technologies.
  • Report writing and submissions to and interaction with clients.
  • Good knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • A full driving license with access to own car.
