As a Principal Industrial Environmental Consultant, your expertise will shine as you:

  • Assist clients in navigating environmental legislation compliance, including special waste/chemical requirements such as REACH, CLP, transboundary shipments, and waste classification.

  • Develop and deliver management systems and training to enhance environmental impact management and improvement, encompassing standards like ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 9001, and net zero strategies.

  • Thrive in a client-facing role, taking the lead in project delivery, achieving valued outcomes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you’ll bring: 

  • Comprehensive understanding of industrial environmental management.

  • Knowledge of waste and chemical management practices.

  • Proficiency in environmental legal compliance auditing.

  • Expertise in ISO standards (14001, 50001, 9001) development, delivery, auditing, and training.

  • Ability to design and facilitate workshops, and develop KPIs/EnPIs.

  • Vision for net zero strategy development and delivery.

  • Skill in data analysis and interpretation for informed decision-making.

  • Creative thinking to drive new business opportunities and projects, especially focused on compliance and sustainability for industries.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Excellent communication, training, and facilitation skills.

  • A drive for innovation and digital transformation in industrial sustainability.

  • Fluency in English.

Your academic and professional journey includes:

  • An Honours or Masters Degree in Chemistry/Science, Industrial Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability, Waste, Energy, Quality Management, Manufacturing Excellence, or related fields.

  • A full U.K. driving license with a clean record.

  • Professional chartership(s) will be highly regarded.
