Our client is seeking a project engineer to join their well-established operations team in Kildare. You will be joining a leading HV&MV Engineering Services Company that currently operates across Ireland, The UK, and Europe. This person must have experience and can work autonomously.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of key aspects of project delivery, supporting Project Managers and the Delivery team.
- Assist in the procurement process and manage equipment delivery schedules.
- Establish and maintain communication with existing and potential clients.
- Contribute to the preparation, evaluation, and presentation of tender documentation.
- Conduct technical evaluations of equipment offers and coordinate with manufacturers to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Manage onsite works and ensure adherence to Powercomm’s high standards.
- Monitor and review contractors’ activities in accordance with company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Degree or qualified HV Electrician.
- Experience in HV substations ranging from 10kV to 220kV.
- Possession of a Safe Pass.
- Full clean driving license.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft packages.
- Willingness to travel within Ireland and the UK, with a vehicle provided by the company.
Desirable:
- Practical onsite experience.
- Familiarity with ESB/NIE standards.
