A well-established, award-winning national practice, offering full Landscape Architectural, Environmental and Town Planning, and Arboricultural services is looking for a Project Landscape Architect.

You will have a Degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture, MILI or equivalent, full driving license, excellent AutoCAD skills, 1 – 5 years’ experience for the Project Landscape Architect position with a strong emphasis on delivering projects through detailed design to site.

Essential Skills and Experience:

·        AutoCAD skills – to City & Guilds level 2/3, or equivalent.

  • Creative designer
  • Good appreciation of the     design process at a range of scales
  • Strong sense of design     quality
  • Strong hard and soft     landscape design, detailing skills and knowledge
  • Ability to work within a     team, to formulate and communicate ideas.
  • Excellent graphic and     presentational skills – photoshop, sketch up, hand drawing etc.
  • Excellent desktop     publishing / office / word capability.
  • Hand drawing skills

Desirable Skills and Experience:

·        Report writing

·        Urban design qualifications or experience

·        Horticultural qualifications or experience

·        GIS

·        LVIA

·        3DCAD and digital modelling

·        Sitework, working with contractors and site monitoring

The practice has a broad and expanding portfolio of parks and public open space design, masterplanning and public realm work, commercial and residential projects, landscape and countryside resource planning and landscape planning / impact assessment projects.  

You must be a team player with good technical and design skills who wishes to be involved in the development of innovative, cost effective and buildable solutions in an environment that is collaborative, stimulating and challenging.
