We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our client’s Transportation team based in Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, or Galway office. Our company focuses on innovative design, technical excellence, and fostering a trusted partner approach to delivery with our clients. We are looking for individuals who are creative, organized, self-motivated, and collaborative, with experience in delivering multi-disciplinary designs. The ideal candidate would be a Chartered Engineer with a background in engineering, as the role involves working closely with industry-leading clients and stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to lead projects of varying sizes and complexity, and there may be opportunities to work in other complementary sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Senior/Deputy Project Manager on multi-disciplinary transportation projects.

  • Take ownership of contract and commercial management.

  • Manage the design process.

  • Develop tender proposals, support bids, and win new commissions.

Desirable Skills/Attributes:

  • Educated to degree level (level 8/9 engineering degree).

  • Minimum of 5 years of postgraduate experience, primarily in a consultancy environment.

  • Chartered or near to Chartered with a professional institution such as Engineers Ireland.

  • Experience in delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK.

  • Experience throughout all stages of a project life cycle.

  • Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary design team.

  • Strong potential for growth to take on more senior roles and responsibilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, delivery partners, and team members to ensure successful results and effective delivery.

  • Awareness of developing technologies and best practices in the industry.

  • Confidence to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.

  • Effective communicator (written, verbal, and presentations).

  • Willingness to develop and build client relationships.

  • Full driving license.
