We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Data Centre Engineer to lead the design and delivery of innovative and sustainable mechanical solutions in the data centre and mission-critical facilities sector. This role is based in Dublin and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving low-carbon initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of complex data centre projects from concept to completion.
- Integrate sustainable and innovative solutions, including net-zero carbon and circular economy strategies.
- Oversee contractor coordination and ensure quality delivery and commissioning of mechanical installations.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and foster professional development within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification design experience, primarily in a consultancy environment.
- Proven expertise in data centre mechanical systems design and delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
