Our client would be pleased to upskill the successful candidate as a Professional Process Safety Engineer, Functional Safety Engineer (FSEng), or other mutually agreeable qualification/accreditation of interest to you. They are seeking to recruit senior and principal level process safety engineers to join their expanding team to be based from their rapidly growing UK offices, to help in the delivery of a diverse range of technical safety studies for our wide-ranging client base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process safety management programs.
- Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA).
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support for process safety-related issues and projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Lead and oversee the development of comprehensive process safety strategies.
- Manage complex safety projects from inception to completion.
- Provide expert advice on process safety to senior management and project teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and culture.
- Develop and deliver training programs on process safety topics.
- Represent the company in regulatory and industry forums.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety engineering.
- Strong knowledge of process safety management systems.
- Proficiency in safety analysis tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process safety engineering.
- Proven track record in leading process safety initiatives and projects.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
