We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our client’s Transportation team based in Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, or Galway office. Our company focuses on innovative design, technical excellence, and fostering a trusted partner approach to delivery with our clients. We are looking for individuals who are creative, organized, self-motivated, and collaborative, with experience in delivering multi-disciplinary designs. The ideal candidate would be a Chartered Engineer with experience delivering schemes from concept to detailed design. The position requires a technical background in engineering as it involves working closely with industry-leading clients and stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to lead projects of varying size and complexity, and there may be opportunities to work in other complementary sectors where skills are transferable to meet individual and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a Project Manager or Package Manager on multi-disciplinary transportation projects.

Take ownership of contract and commercial management.

Manage the design process.
-
Provide line management and mentoring to more junior staff.

Develop tender proposals, lead bids, and win new commissions.
Desirable Skills/Attributes:
-
Educated to degree level (level 8/9 engineering degree).

Minimum of 7 years of postgraduate experience, primarily in a consultancy environment.

Chartered with Engineers Ireland or an equivalent professional institution.

Experience in delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK.

Experience throughout all stages of a project life cycle.

Ability to manage a multi-disciplinary design team.

Strong potential for growth to take on more senior roles and responsibilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, delivery partners, and team members to ensure successful results and effective delivery.

Awareness of developing technologies and best practices in the industry.
