A renowned Irish consultancy is in search of Project and Senior Project Engineers to join the Infrastructure team. This opportunity is best suited for candidates who have at least three years of experience in the roads and transportation domain and are eager to gain diverse hands-on skills. Responsibilities

  • Civil engineering design including roads, greenways and active travel schemes
  • Planning and managing CAD documentation, working closely with CAD Technicians
  • Working closely with other Engineers and Graduates
  • Attend onsite meetings with the client and other professionals
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the timescales, quality and costs agreed with the client
  • Ensure compliance with our Quality Assurance and Management Systems
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety legislation

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3+ years post-graduate experience, preferably in a roads and transportation environment
  • Experience with relevant design standards including TII DMRB, DMURS, National Cycle Manual, etc.
  • Experience in cycleway design, greenways and active travel schemes is advantageous
  • Experience in scheme option development and appraisal is advantageous
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer status
  • Working knowledge of civil design software is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, management, analytical and organisation skills required
  • Experience working and coordinating with technical specialists and engineers
  • Efficient work methods, functioning both as part of team and on own initiative
  • Experience organising and delivering complex tasks involving multiple parties within a short timeframe
  • The ability to adopt and work to new procedures and systems quickly
  • Must be prepared to travel to site visits and client meetings
  • Full drivers licence
