We are recruiting a Senior Sustainability Manager with Auditing, Data & Analytics or Regulatory experience for a global leader in assurance, consulting, strategy and transactions, and tax services.
The Role
This role will place you at the heart of a high-energy, agile team that is committed to helping clients build long-term sustainable businesses. This opportunity will enable you to work with leading financial institutions to deliver better outcomes on some of the world’s most pressing climate and sustainability issues. You will interact with colleagues globally and work across our different sectors and business activities.
Key responsibilities
- You will lead medium complex projects to deliver key projects for our clients on the wide range of topics we work on, listed above
- You will lead on business acquisition, which means winning in the market by bringing some of the most innovative projects to the consultancy
- You will be a thought leader in the sustainable finance industry, representing the company at external events and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships.
- You will create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and lead the development of compan’s thought leadership on industry-leading sustainable finance topics.
- You will oversee operational efficiency on projects and lead on internal initiatives, consistently driving projects to completion making sure that the work delivered is industry leading.
- You will head up and lead teams on engagements, keeping a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks and opportunities
- Working closely with colleagues at all levels (from interns to senior partners), you will create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.
- You will contribute to the development of company capabilities in technical areas and engage with clients regarding the application of these methodologies to their businesses.
- You will collaborate with colleagues outside of Sustainable Finance to deliver multi-disciplinary and cross-geographical work.
Qualifications
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, but are particularly interested in individuals that have the following qualifications:
- Track record of success from 8+ years of relevant experience in sustainability / ESG at a financial services firm, sustainability consultancy, investment firm or other relevant organisation
- Demonstrated expertise in one or several of the technical topics we cover in our team, as listed above
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams
- Strong academic record including a relevant degree
- Experience running or contributing to a range of projects
- We are particularly interested in candidates who have a financial or non-financial audit career background
