What You Bring
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering or higher, with a focus on Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in structural engineering, including both design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of Eurocode design for materials like steel, timber, concrete, and masonry.
Technical Skills
- A deep understanding of structural mechanics and complex design principles.
- Proficiency in finite element analysis and tools like Autodesk Robot, Tekla Structural Designer, and CADS A3D.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Design Tasks: Design complex structures such as deep foundations, transfer structures, and torsional beams, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Tender Management: Prepare tender documents and assess tenders for site investigation works.
- Mentor & Manage: Oversee and guide junior engineers and graduates, ensuring their work meets quality standards and compliance.
- Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to prepare technical reports, develop specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Site & Financial Management: Conduct site inspections, assist with BCAR reports, and manage project financials, including invoicing and financial reviews.
