What You Bring

Education & Expertise

  • Degree (Level 8/9) in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications (Level 9/10) preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in consultancy, with a strong track record in water resource projects.
  • Professional Standing: Chartered or Fellow status with CIWEM or a similar professional body is a plus.

Technical Mastery

  • Proficiency in water resource planning, modelling, and strategy development.
  • Solid understanding of water supply-demand balance, drought planning, and risk management.

Skills

  • Proven business development acumen, client engagement prowess, and proposal writing expertise.
  • Familiarity with Ireland’s water resource sector, regulatory frameworks, and planning legislation.
  • A full Irish/EU driving license.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Projects: Spearhead water resource planning and modelling initiatives at regional and national levels.
  • Deliver Solutions: Provide expert consultancy to create sustainable water resource management strategies.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client services.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key clients like Uisce Éireann, government bodies, and private sector stakeholders.
  • Expand Opportunities: Identify new project opportunities, prepare competitive tenders, and secure client engagements.
  • Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest in water regulation, planning legislation, and industry best practices.
  • Represent & Inspire: Act as a thought leader, representing the organisation in professional and public forums with a commitment to sustainability and integrity.
